PLANNING PROFITS

Terms of Business

Last updated 24 September 2026

These terms apply to everything you buy from Planning Profits. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, email ian@planningforprofit.co.uk.

1. Who we are

Planning Profits is the trading name of Planning Profits Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15752168). Our registered office is 28 Windsor Road, London N7 6JG.

2. What we provide

We give planning advice and information about UK property. That includes site reviews and calls, a monthly membership, online training, reports and tools.

Our advice is a professional opinion on how a council or planning inspector is likely to view a site or proposal. It is based on the information available to us at the time, including anything you tell us.

3. Ordering and payment

Our checkout is run by SamCart, and payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are in pounds sterling.

Some products are paid in two parts, such as a deposit followed by a balance. The checkout page shows both amounts and dates. When you order, you authorise us to take the later payment on that date using the same payment method.

4. Memberships and subscriptions

Memberships renew every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing us or through your account. You won't be charged again after you cancel, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

5. Guarantees and refunds

If the page you bought from offered a guarantee, you get that guarantee on the terms set out on that page. It's in addition to these terms. To claim a guarantee or ask for a refund, email us. Refunds go back to the payment method you used.

6. Your right to cancel (consumers)

If you're buying as a consumer, not for a business, you usually have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. In practice:

None of this affects any guarantee in section 5, or your other legal rights.

7. Using our materials

Our reports, training, recordings and data are for your own use and for your own business's projects. You can't resell them, republish them or share your login. Anything you send us, such as site details or plans, stays yours. We use it only to deliver the service.

Member groups, including our WhatsApp group, are for members only. Please be respectful, and don't share what's said there outside the group. We may remove anyone who breaks this.

8. Our liability

We take reasonable care and skill in everything we provide. If we get something wrong, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses such as lost profit, lost opportunity or changes in land value.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights aren't affected.

9. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. For memberships, we'll email you about any significant change before it takes effect.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please email us first and we'll try to put it right. Any dispute that can't be settled between us will go to the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
